Tra Co Communal House in Quang Ninh

Tra Co Communal House is situated in Tra Co Ward, Mong Cai Town, Quang Ninh Province. According to documents, Tra Co was built in Quang Thuan under Le dynasty in 1461in order to the cult of the tutelary genies who were six founders of the village and they came from Haiphong viet nam.

Pretty carvings are crowded with mythological animals such as dragons, phoenixes, unicorns, turtles, and natural elements like flowers, and clouds. The relic is famous for the dragon carvings on its doors and its transverse panels in gold and red lacquer.
